Wiffleball

Wiffleball is a game played in a similar fashion to baseball, except that wiffleball is generally much drunker and awesomer.

Your average “wiffler” is a 7 year old boy, and while I am significantly older than that, I aspire to someday reach that level of emotional maturity.

Sometime around Finals at the end of my second year of Law School, I bought a three dollar wiffleball and bat set from the grocery store.

I figured, at the very least, I could use it to hit myself in the face to try and forget that I was studying for finals.

Ultimately, I decided to use it in the generally accepted “proper” manner, and have never looked back.  As a baseball fan with no real athletic ability, I enjoy the fact that I can now pitch to great effect and strike people out with my ridiculous 30 mph sinker.

Wiffleball Sites of Interest

These are the basic rules of Wiffleball.  When I get time, I’ll upload a copy of the rules of the Albany Law Wiffleball League.

Until then, if you’re at all interested (which I can’t possible imagine) or if you wan to watch us play so you can make fun of us, please contact myself or Eric.  We’ll be happy to let you know when the next tournament or practice is.

Even babies look badass when they’re playing wiffleball
